Kuching's Gambir Street, the old market for Kuching's people. Its was built in the early of 1900s. Its was a very bustling place for the Kuching folks to source fresh vegetables, fruits and meat. But the market was closed on 15th June 2008 and brings the curtain down on the heyday of historical Old Kuching. Now, a place that very historical for everyone in Kuching are gone. Where is the heritage? Gambier Street is where Kuching started.
